About Us

Lakeshore Conservation Club, formerly Lakeshore Rod & Gun Club, is a non-profit organization that was founded in the early 1950s. Years ago, the club promoted fish stocking in area lakes with the DNR; holding winter fishing contests, gun safety/training, trap shooting and other contests to raise funds.

Today the Lakeshore Conservation Club has grown and now owns 112.6 acres of land off County Road 77 in Nisswa, Minnesota. Our membership has risen to over 500 and our facilities have improved and been added upon to include:

• Skeet Range
• Trap Range
• Pistol Range
• Rifle Range
• Archery Range – 3D Animal Targets & Yardage Markers

Aside from our own facilities, we lease some 57 acres of our land to Ski Gull on the east side, which is used for their ski hill in the winter months. At all times, Lakeshore Conservation Club strives to build relationships with similar family recreational centers like Ski Gull. We are even an official partner with the outdoor related retailer, Gander Mountain, where club members can receive 10% off every purchase when they show their club membership card (Baxter location only).

Facility Rental
The Lakeshore Conservation Club’s facilities are available for rent by members as well as non-members. The facilities and shooting activities provide for a great experience, entertainment and knowledge to businesses, organizations and individuals for their private parties. By making an appointment, we will allow the attendees of your party to take part in shooting skeet, trap, and/or rifle/pistol.

Special group rates apply for private parties/special events, gun training and guns will be made available if needed.
